Please note that the link to the horse editor is now: aliciagame.com/editor/
Today we are presenting our new website aliciastory.com
The name has been inspired by the initial Korean title of the game "말과 나의 이야기, 앨리샤" which can be translated as "Alicia: Horse and My Story".
And as we promised, this update gonna be very special. On the website you will find a fully functional Alicia 3D horse editor. Yes, this is a real 3D, and the only thing requited to use it is a html5-compatible browser, like FireFox or Chrome. In the editor you are able to change the Alicia horse coats in real time, selecting one of the ingame coats, which you are also able to download to your computer. But the most interesting part is that you are actually able to upload your own horse coat to the editor and apply it to the Alicia 3D-model using only your browser!
And that is just the very beginning~ In the future you will be able to share your artwork directly on the website and we can even make a horse coat contest, so that the best coats can be added into the game in the future. Later we will add support for mane and tail textures, horse armors, character clothes - almost anything is possible. So while you are all waiting for the ranch version to be released, you may have some fun creating your own horse coats =)
P.S. This is quite a cutting-edge technology, therefore we can not guarantee that the editor will be fully supported across different platforms or devices. However we will try to make it available for everybody. Try to use the latest version of Firefox or Chrome.
Quick guide:
Use mouse to rotate the camera, combobox in the upper-right corner to select an ingame texture, cloud icons to download and upload your textures into the editor. Recommended textures format: PNG or JPG with 512x512 resolution - the same as original ingame format.
The first simple thing you can do:
1) Press the "Download Texture" button (a cloud icon with a down arrow) to save the current coat to your computer.
2) Edit the saved coat image in some editor (like photoshop)
3) Press the "Upload Texture" (a cloud icon with an up arrow) to upload the modified image back to the horse.
